Iris Pourpre de Desmirail comes from a small plot of vines next to one of the AOC Margaux vineyards, vinified with the same care and in the same spirit as the Second Vin de Desmirail.

The choice of Iris Pourpre evokes both the name of a pretty flower and that of a beautiful curly mare, the estate's mascot.

Iris Pourpre de Desmirail 2019. Made from a small parcel adjacent to Margaux, this wine, vinified by the Desmirail team, is elegant and straightforward. The smoky notes of the ageing process are still slightly present, but accompany the well-stretched body. The palate remains juicy.
