Second wine of Château Larmande, deep ruby-red color. Lovely nose with red fruit aromas. Round and silky on the palate, with good length.

Geographical location: Hillside vineyard, located 1200m from the town of Saint-Emilion.

Terroirs : Clay-limestone, ancient sands, siliceous clay

Average age of vineyard: 30 years old

Grape varieties: 65% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon

Harvesting and vinification: Hand-picked. Manual sorting. Gravity transfer. Pre-fermentation maceration, 21-day vatting.

Type of vats: Double-walled, parallelepiped stainless-steel vats, temperature-controlled.

Aged in French oak barrels for 16 months, 40% new, 60% single-vineyard.
