Cuvée Liberté – AOP LALANDE DE POMEROL – No Added Sulfites

“A deeply-coloured wine aged without added sulphites. Intense, warm aromas of well-ripened red and black berry fruit.  After an invigorating attack, the palate reveals a harmonious combination of generous flavours, rich substance and silky tannins. Exceptionally expressive, very long finish.”

Terroir : clay-gravel-sand

Grape varieties : 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon

Average age of vines : 40 to 45 years-old

Growing methods : Ploughing, sowing of green fertilizers. Mechanical weed control.

Harvests : manual with sorting

Vinification : Selection of old Cabernet Sauvignon and old Merlot. Maceration for 25 days in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats.

Ageing: 100% aged in new 500 L French oak barrels for twelve months.

No added sulphites

Bottled at the château with nitrogen flushing (to protect the colour and fruit from oxidation) - DIAM 10 ® - 47x24 Technical corks (composite corks that have a consistent density and permeability).

Ageing potential :  Ready to drink after 2 years ageing in the bottle. Maturity from 5 years-old. 10 to 20 years.
