Soil : clay - sand - gravel
Grape varieties : 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon Average age of vines : 25 to 30 years-old
Growing methods : Ploughing, sowing of green fertilizers. Mechanical weed control.
Harvests : Manual with sorting
Vinification: maceration for 25 days in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats.
Ageing : 50% in new French oak barrels, 50% in vats. A minimal quantity of sulphites is used at this stage
Total sulphite content : <40 mg/L
Bottled at the château with nitrogen flushing (to protect the colour and fruit from oxidation) - DIAM 5 ® - 47x24 Technical corks (composite corks that have consistent density and permeability)
Ageing potential : Ready to drink after two years ageing in the bottle, can be kept 10 years.
