“Dark, ruby-red colour. A very open, powerful wine, packed with fresh fruit aromas of raspberry and blackcurrant. Ready to drink now: soft attack on the palate with notes of very ripe fruit. The tannins are present but supple, bringing structure and roundness. An enjoyable, easy-to-drink wine.”

Grape varieties : 100% Merlot

Average age of vines : 15 to 20 years-old

Growing methods : Ploughing, sowing of green fertilizers. Mechanical weed control.

Harvests : Manual with sorting

Vinification : maceration for 25 days in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats.

Ageing : in stainless-steel tanks Total sulphite content : <80 mg/L

Bottled at the château with nitrogen flushing (to protect the colour and fruit from oxidation) - DIAM 3 ® - 44x24 Technical corks (composite corks that have consistent density and permeability)

Ageing potential : Ready to drink after a year ageing in the bottle, can be kept 5 to 10 years.
