Terroir: clay-gravel-sand

Grape varieties: 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot Average age of vines: 40 to 45 years-old

Growing methods: Ploughing, sowing of green fertilizers. Mechanical weed control.

Harvests: manual with sorting

Vinification: Selection of Cabernet Sauvignon vines more than 50 years-old. Maceration for 25 days in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats.

Ageing: 100% in new French oak barrels (225 L) for twelve months.

Bottled at the château with nitrogen flushing (to protect the colour and fruit from oxidation)

Ageing potential: Maturity from 5 years-old. 10 to 20 years.
